Gyeonghuigung Palace, completed in 1617, was a secondary palace (離宮) where kings of the late Joseon Dynasty resided, and was once one of the largest of the five grand palaces of Joseon.

Currently, some of the palace buildings have been restored, and together with the Seoul Museum of History, it is cherished as a space where visitors can explore the history and culture of the Joseon royal family.

It is a hidden gem where you can quietly appreciate the beauty of a palace in the heart of the city.

09:00 ~ 18:00 (Last admission : 17 : 30)

Closed days are January 1st, and every Monday is a closed day (休宮日). (During the Royal Culture Festival, the palace operates without any closed days.)

※ If a closed day falls on a public holiday (including substitute holidays), the palace will be open, and in this case, the first non-public holiday following the open public holiday will be designated as the closed day.
